Case Study

The government petroleum company of a foreign nation contracts with a purported U.S. supplier of equipment and spare parts to meet production for export contracts. The U.S. supplier failed in its duty to supply was sued and we were hired for a post judgment review of the supplier’s books and records. What happened? We determined that protecting itself, the U.S. supplier up-streamed, down-streamed and side-streamed and off-shored its cash flow to related entities and alter egos through a potpourri of loans and disguised expenses. Our simple to-the-point report ultimately permitted counsel to recover a significant portion of the judgment award monies.
